A team of 5 ringers, a scribe and two observers went to Harty on the evening of the 29th August.
Cloud was covering the full moon but a late change to the forecast suggested rain arriving just before high tide, with that in mind we restricted the number of nets used. High tide was around 00:20.
We caught 20 new birds:
Whimbrel
Ringed Plover
Turnstone
3 Knot
6 Dunlin
8 Redshank
